Application to terminate the Journalists (Federal Capital Press) Award 2011.

[1] This decision arises from an application by Federal Capital Press of Australia Pty Ltd to terminate the Journalists (Federal Capital Press) Award 2001.

[2] The application was made pursuant to Item 5(4) of Schedule 6 of the Fair Work (Transitional Provisions & Consequential Amendments) Act 2009.

[3] I am satisfied that the factors to be taken into account when considering an application to terminate Enterprise Instruments have been satisfied particularly the views of the persons covered by the Instrument.

[4] The application is granted and the Award is terminated. The termination shall be effective from 23 September 2011.
