REGULATIONS UNDER THE SEAT OF GOVERNMENT (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1924-1926.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1924-1926, to come into operation as from 1st July, 1925.

Federal Capital Commission (Fees) Regulations.

Short title.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Federal Capital Commission (Fees) Regulations.

Fees of members of Commission.

2. (1) Each member of the Commission, other than the Chief Commissioner, shall receive a retaining fee of £750 per annum and in addition shall receive a fee of Five guineas for each day upon which he attends a meeting of the Commission.

(2) Each member of the Commission shall receive a fee at the rate of Five guineas for each day (not being a day to which sub-regulation (1) of this regulation applies) upon which he is engaged away from his home on such business connected with the Commission as the Commission determines, or upon which he is travelling for the purpose of either engaging in such business, or returning home after having engaged in such business.

Fees for period prior to 1st July, 1925.

3. Notwithstanding anything contained in the last preceding regulation, the fee payable to each member of the Commission, other than the Chief Commissioner, while engaged on official duties connected with the Commission prior to the 1st July, 1925, shall be Five guineas per diem.

Travelling expenses.

4. Each member of the Commission shall receive an allowance at the rate of Two guineas per diem while absent from his home town for the purpose of engaging in official duties connected with the Commission.

Repeal.

5. The Federal Capital Commission (Fees) Regulations (being Statutory Rules 1926, No. 19) are hereby repealed.
