Federal Airports Corporation Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Federal Airports Corporation Act 1986.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Federal Airports Corporation Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE:   These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2    Regulation 3 (Interpretation)

2.1   Subregulation 3 (1) (definition of “dredging site”, paragraph (a)):

Omit the definition, substitute:

“ ‘dredging site’ means the land identified as “A1”, “A3/1”, “A3/2”, “A4”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “F”, “G”, “H”, “V”, “X” and “Y” in the plan registered at the New South Wales Land Titles Office as Deposited Plan No. 648068 comprising part of the land in Certificate of Title Folio Identifier 402/816961;”.

2.2   Subregulation 3 (1) (definition of “rights”):

Omit the definition, substitute:

“ ‘rights’ means the interests in the dredging site that are identified in the declarations made under section 22 of the Land Acquisition Act 1989 by the Minister for the Arts and Administrative Services and notified in the Gazette on 13 May 1992 and 15 September 1993;”.

3.    Regulation 9 (Duties in relation to a licence)

3.1   Subregulation 9 (4):

Omit “(2) (iv)”, substitute “(2) (a) (iv)”.

4.    Regulation 10 (Directions)

4.1   Subregulation 10 (5):

Omit “dredging area”, substitute “dredging site”.

5.    Schedule 1 (Environmental recommendations)

5.1   Clause 8:

Omit “addresses”, substitute “addressed”.
