FARMERS' RELIEF (AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 28, 1945.

An Act to extend for a further period certain provisions of the Farmers' Relief Act, 1932-1943; to validate certain matters; for these purposes to amend the Farmers' Relief Act, 1932-1943; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 22nd October, 1945.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows :—

(1) This Act may be cited as the "Farmers 'Rel ie f (Amendment) Act, 1945."

(2) The Farmers ' Belief Act, 1932, as amended by

subsequent Acts, and by this Act, may be cited as the

" F a r m e r s ' Relief Act, 1932-1945."

(3) This Act shall be deemed to have commenced
on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and

2 . The Farmers ' Eelief Act, 1932, as amended by

subsequent Acts, is ahiended—

(a)

by omitting from subsection one of section eight tlie word "forty-five" and by inserting in lieu thereof the word "for ty-s ix";

(b)

by omitting from subsection eleven of section nine the words and figures " F a r m e r s ' Relief (Amendment) Act, 1943" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words and figures " F a r m e r s ' Eelief (Amendment) Act, 1945."
