AN ACT to continue the operation of the Farmers'

Debts Adjustment Act, 1930-1946.

[Assented to 1st December, 1947.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title. 1.

This Act may be cited as the Farmers' Debts Adjustment Act Amendment (Continuance) Act, 1947,

and shall be read as one with the Farmers' Debts Adjust- ment Act, 1930-1946 (as reprinted in the appendix to the Sessional Volume of Statutes, 1935, and amended by Acts Nos. 16 of 1937, 34 of 1940, 11 of 1943, and 58 of 1946), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Amendment

Section nineteen of the principal Act is amended

by deleting the word "forty-eight" in line two thereof

and inserting in lieu thereof the word "fifty."
