1  Name

This instrument is the Family Law (Superannuation) (Provision of Information—Military Superannuation and Benefits Scheme) Amendment Determination 2016.

2  Commencement

(1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

1  After section 2

Insert:

2A  Authority

This Determination is made under subregulations 63(6B), 64(7) and 64(7B) of the Family Law (Superannuation) Regulations 2001.

2  Paragraph 6(a)

Omit “paragraph”, substitute “the purposes of paragraphs 63(6B)(a) and”.

3  Paragraph 6(b)

Omit “paragraph”, substitute “the purposes of paragraphs 63(6B)(b) and”.

4  Section 6 (table item 1, column headed “Information not required to be provided”)

Omit “paragraph”, substitute “paragraphs 63(3)(b) and”.

5  Section 6 (table item 2, column headed “Information not required to be provided”)

After “subparagraphs”, insert “63(3)(b)(ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) and”.
