Family Law Rules (Amendment)

WE, Judges within the meaning of the Family Law Act 1975, make the following Rules of Court under that Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Rules commence on 1 June 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Family Law Rules are amended as set out in these Rules.

3.   Schedule 2 (Scale of Costs (Including Counsel’s Fees))

3.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:

4.Application

4.1   The amendments effected by rule 3 apply to work done and services performed on or after 1 June 1994.

4.2 The Schedule repealed by rule 3 continues to apply, despite its repeal, to work done and services performed on or after 1 May 1993 and before 1 June 1994.
