Family Law Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Family Law Act 1975.

Prescribed laws for purposes of sub-sections 114AB (1) and (2) of the Act

1. Regulation 19 of the Family Law Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following paragraph:

“(f) the Domestic Violence Ordinance 1986 of the Australian Capital Territory.”,

Schedule 2

2. Schedule 2 to the Family Law Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting—

“Alaska”

and substituting—

“Alaska

Arizona”;

(b) by omitting—

“Florida”

and substituting

“Florida

Georgia”;

and substituting—

(d) by omitting—

West Virginia

Wisconsin

Wyoming”.
