Family Law Regulations 2 (Amendment)

I, W I L L I A M P A T R I C K D E A N E , Governor-General of the Commonweal th of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Family

Law Act 1975.

1. Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2. Amendment

2.1 The Family Law Regulations are amended as set out in these

Regulations.

3. New regulation 3A

3.1 After regulation 3, insert:

Prescribed contract limit

"3A. For paragraph 38A (4) (b) of the Act, a higher amount of

$1,000,000 is prescribed.".
