Family Law Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Family Law Act 1975.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Family Law Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. New regulation 18a

2.1 After regulation 18, insert:

Prescribed maximum period—subsection 112ag (6) of the Act

“18a. For the purposes of the definition of ‘maximum period’ in subsection 112ag (6) of the Act, 200 hours is prescribed in relation to each State and Territory.”.
