Family Law Amendment (De Facto Financial Matters and Other Measures) Act 2008

I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under items 2 and 7 of the table in subsection 2 (1) of the Family Law Amendment (De Facto Financial Matters and Other Measures) Act 2008, fix 1 March 2009 as the day on which the following provisions of the Act commence:

(a)   items 1 to 4 of Schedule 1;

(b)   item 1 of Schedule 4.
