1Name

This instrument is the Family Law Amendment (Arbitration) Regulations 2025.

2Commencement
  1. (1)

    Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Family Law Act 1975.

Omit “an arbitration”, substitute “family law arbitration”.

Subsection 25(1)

Repeal the subsection, substitute:

    An application, under subsection 13F(1) of the Act, for an order to facilitate the effective conduct of family law arbitration must be in accordance with Form 7 in Schedule 3.

Add:

    an arbitrator of the arbitration.
