Family Court Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2025

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Family Court Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2025.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

• (a)

  regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

• (b)

  the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Family Court Regulations 1998.

4.Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3(1) in the definition of Family Law Regulations delete “Family Law Regulations 1984 of the Commonwealth;” and insert:

Family Law Regulations 2024 (Commonwealth);

5.Regulation 8 amended

In regulation 8 delete “5” and insert:
