Family Court Amendment Regulations

(No. 2) 2010

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in
Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Family Court Amendment Regulations
(No. 2) 2010.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette (gazettal day);
(b)	the rest of the regulations —

(i)      if gazettal day is before 1 July 2010 — on 1 July 2010; or

(ii)      if gazettal day is on or after 1 July 2010 — on the day after gazettal day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Family Court Regulations 1998.

4.             Regulation 18 amended

(1)	In regulation 18(1)(a)(i) delete “$172” and insert:

(2)	In regulation 18(1)(a)(ii) delete “$344;” and insert:

$466, for each hearing day, or part of a hearing day, including the first hearing day;

(3) In regulation 18(1)(b) delete “$344.” and insert:

$466, for each hearing day, or part of a hearing

day, including the first hearing day; and

(4) After regulation 18(1)(b) insert:

(c) for filing an application for a consent order — $80.

5.             Regulation 19 amended

(1)	In regulation 19 delete “A fee” and insert:
(1) A fee
(2)	At the end of regulation 19 insert:
(2) Subregulation (1) applies to the provisions of regulation 18(1) as follows —

(a)	regulation 18(1)(c) — after 30 June 2012;
(b)	the rest of the subregulation — after 30 June 2010.
