1. Citation

This Determination may be cited as the Family Assistance (Present Value of Unpaid Amount – Interest Rate) Determination 2000.

1. Commencement

This Determination commences on 1 July 2000, immediately after the commencement of section 100 of the Act.

1. Definition

In this Determination:

the Act means the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) (Administration) Act 1999.

1. Annual interest rate

For the purposes of the definition of interest in subsection 100(6) of the Act, the annual rate of interest of 10% is specified.
