I, Kay Christine Lesley Patterson, Minister for Family and Community Services, make the following determination under subsection 162(3) of the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) (Administration) Act 1999.

Name of determination

1.         This determination may be cited as the Family Assistance (Household Organisational Management Expenses (HOME) Advice Program) Determination 2004.

Commencement

2.         This determination takes effect at the end of the period in which it could be disallowed in either House of the Parliament.

Definitions

3.         In this Determination:

Act means the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) (Administration) Act 1999.

HOME Advice Program means the Household Organisational Management Expenses (HOME) Advice Program.

protected information has the meaning given by subsection 3(1) of the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) (Administration) Act 1999.

Purpose

4.         This determination specifies that the purposes of the HOME Advice Program are purposes for which protected information may be obtained under subsection 162(1), or recorded, disclosed or otherwise used under subsection 162(2) of the Act.
