Modern Awards Review 2012 - Waste Management Award 2010.

[1] Applications to vary the Waste Management Award 2010 (Waste Management Award) as part of the two year review were listed before me for conference on 10 October 2013.

[2] A document has been prepared by my chambers which sets out each of the applications before me as part of the review of the Waste Management Award. The final column of the table outlines my understanding of the parties’ positions as at the conclusion of the 10 October conference.

[3] I intend to proceed to finalise the review of the Waste Management Award based on this document and the submissions filed by various parties to date. Should any interested person or party wish to make any comment about either of the following matters (including the proposal in the attached document as to how I should deal with each of them), a written outline of submissions must be filed by close of business 25 October 2013:

A. AM2012/226 Application by the Australian Industry Group with respect to clause 4.2 of the Waste Management Award.

B. AM2012/216 Application by the Waste Contractors and Recyclers Association of New South Wales with respect to the insertion of the proposed text in clause 19.1 of the Waste Management Award.
