This is the Fair Work Commission Amendment (General Protections Applications and Other Measures) Rule 2014 .

2Commencement

This rule commences on 1 January 2015.

3Authority

This rule is made under the Fair Work Act 2009.

4Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Repeal the heading, substitute:

Subrule 36(4)

Repeal the subrule (not including the note), substitute:

    Any response by the respondent to an application for the Commission to deal with a dispute under section 739 of the Act must be lodged, in writing, with the Commission as soon as practicable after the respondent is served with the application.
