Fair Trading Tribunal Act 1998 No 161 - Proclamation

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Fair Trading Tribunal Act 1998, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 March 1999 as the day on which that Act (Schedule 4.10 and clause 7 of Schedule 5 excepted) commences.

This Proclamation commences the Fair Trading Tribunal Act 1998, except for a provision that amends the Retail Leases Act 1994 and a provision affecting the jurisdiction of the Fair Trading Tribunal.
