2 Fair Trading (Swimming Pool Alarm) No. 161, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This order may be cited as the Fair Trading (Swimming Pool Alarm) Order 1993 . ˙ Meaning of “swimming pool alarm” 2. In this order— “swimming pool alarm” means a device that— (a) relies on water wave motion to detect an immersion in the body of water covered by the device; and (b) is known as— (i) ‘Aqualarm’; or (ii) ‘Doberman Pool Safety System’. ˙ Supply of swimming pool alarm prohibited 3.
