Fair Trading Regulations1 (Amendment)

The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Fair Trading Act 1992.

1. Commencement

   These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.

2. Principal Regulations

   In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Fair Trading Regulations.

3. Codes of practice—amendment

   Regulation 4A of the Principal Regulations is amended—

(a)   by omitting from paragraph (c) “and” (last occurring); and

(b)   by adding at the end the following paragraphs:

“(e)the Fitness Industry Code of Practice is amended in accordance with the approved Fitness Industry Code of Practice Amendment (No. 1 of 1999); and

(f)the Crowd Marshals Industry Code of Practice (as amended by the Crowd Marshals Industry Code of Practice Amendment (No. 1 of 1998)) is amended in accordance with the approved Crowd Marshals Industry Code of Practice Amendment (No. 1 of 1999).”.

1. Repeal

   Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is repealed.
