s1 2 s3 Fair Trading (Quikfix) No. 320, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This order may be cited as the Fair Trading (Quikfix) Order 1997 . ˙ Meaning of “quikfix” 2.(1) A quikfix is a tool, or another thing— (a) designed to any extent to interfere with a child resistant or other safety feature of a cigarette lighter; or (b) supplied as a thing designed to interfere with, or capable of interfering with, a child resistant or other safety feature of a cigarette lighter. (2) In this section— “interfere with” , a safety feature, includes— (a) remove, tamper with, or reduce the effectiveness of, the feature; and (b) assist in interfering with the feature; and (c) interfering with the feature when it is fitted to, or in contact with, the lighter. ˙ Supply of quikfix prohibited 3.
