FAIR TRADING (AMENDMENT) ACT 1990 NO 85—

PROCLAMATION

(L S) Samuels, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Fair Trading (Amendment) Act 1990, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 December 1997 as the day on which that Act (except Schedule 1 (1)–(3)) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain provisions of the Fair Trading (Amendment) Act 1990 that deal with additional dispute resolution procedures for contraventions of codes of practice (see Schedule I (4)–(6) to that Act).
