FAIR TRADING ACT 1987—REGULATION
(Relating to date stamping of food)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Fair Trading Act 1987, has been pleased to make
the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 1st May, 1992.
Repeal
2. The Consumer Protection (Date Stamping) Regulation 1978 is
repealed.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Regulation repeals a regulation regulating the date stamping of food. These matters are to be regulated by the simultaneous adoption of relevant provisions of the National Food Standards Code.
