THE FACTOBIES [ASSENTED TO 8TH FEBRUARY, 1917.] A: ~~ ' ~~ ~ : ' B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, ~ ~ w: 7. by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- . lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- '. 1. This Act may be cited as "The Factories and Short:title•.. Shops Acts Further Amendment Act of 1917," and shall be. : \ read as one with "The Factories and Shops Acts, 1900 to .'. 1916."* . 2 The following amendments are made in "The Correoti!'fl Factories and Shops Acts Amendment Act of 1916"t:- ~ oe: ' lD (1.) la section three the words "The second para- graph of the definition of 'Inspector' is repealed" are repealed. (2.) In section four the words "Subsection two of section six of the Principal Act is repealed. The follow- ing provision is added to the said section" are repealed, and the words "The following subsection is added to section six of the Principal Act" are inserted in lieu thereof " (3.) In subsection seventeen of section twelve, after the words "the factory," the words "or shop" are inserted. (4.) The first paragraph of section fourteen is repealed. . In the second paragraph of the said section the words "of the said section" are repealed, and the words" of section forty-six of the Principal Act" are inserted in lieu thereof. (5.) In the second paragraph of section sixteen the words " The second. third, and fourth paragraphs of the said section are repealed" are repealed, and the words "the third paragraph of the said section is repealed" are inserted in lieu thereof. * 64 Vic.
