An Act to Amend “ The Factories and Shops Acts, T he F actories and S hops 1900 to 1954,” in certain particulars. A cts AMENDJIENT A ct of 1958. [A ssented to 10 th A pril , 1958.] B E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— Short title. 1. (1.) This Act may be cited as “ The Factories and Shops Acts Amendment Act of 1958.” Principal (2.) *“ The Factories and Shops Acts, 1900 to 1954,” Aot‘ are in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. Collective (3.) The Principal Act and this Act may be tltle' collectively cited as “ The Factories and Shops Acts, 1900 to 1958.” Amendment 2. Section 47 b of the Principal Act is amended by of s. 47 b . repealing in the definition of the term “ Leather goods ” therein the word and symbol “ leggings ; ” and also the words and symbols “ harness, saddles, horse collars, bridles, and machine belting ; ”. Amendment 3. Section 47 d of the Principal Act is amended by 0 s' D' repealing in paragraph (i.) of subsection one of that section, the word “ capital ” and also the words, brackets and symbol “ of not less than 8 point measurement (of which letters the following is an example of the size and description— factories ) ”. * 64 Y.
