AN ACT to amend section thirty-nine and the third

schedule of the Factories and Shops Act, 1920.

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by

and with the advice and consent of the Legislative

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in

this presents Parliament assembled, and: by the authority of

the same, as

Short title. This Act may he cited as the Factories and Shops Act

Amendment Act, 1932, and shall be read as one with the

Factories and Shops Act, 1920, as reprinted in the Appendix to the Sessional Volume of the Statutes for the year 1928, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

imendment of	2. Section thirty-nine of the principal Act is amended
. 39,

(a)	by inserting after the word "factories," in line three, the words "and condensed milk and milk products (other than butter) factories";
(b)	by adding at the end of the section the words "in the case of the factories, other than condensed milk and milk products (other than butter) factories, mentioned herein, and during the period between the first day of September in each year and the first day of February next following the same in the case of condensed milk and milk products (other than butter) factories."

hendment of	3. The Third Schedule to the principal Act is amended by adding thereto the words "Condensed milk and milk products (other than butter) factories (during the period between the first day of September in each year and the first day of Feb- ruary next following the same)."
