AN ACT to amend the Factories Act, 1904.
[Assented to 24th December, 1904.]
and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this presentBE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Factories Amendment Act, Short title.
1904, and shall be read as one with the Factories Act, 1904, herein-
after referred to as the principal Act.
2. Subsection six of section twenty-seven of the principal Act Amendment of s. 27,
is hereby amended by striking out the words: " provided, however, s' (6)'
that such reserved space shall not exceed that in force for schools
under the Education Act," and inserting the following words in lieu
thereof : " provided, however, that such reserved space shall be not
less than three hundred and fifty cubic feet for each person working
therein, and provided the Minister may, on cause shown, exempt
any factory or workroom from the operation of this section."
