Extradition (Republic of Austria) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)

GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the
Dated 15 September 1983.

Regulation 2 of the Extradition (Republic of Austria) Regulations is repealed and the following regulations are substituted:
“2.
In these Regulations, ‘the Act’ means the
“3. The Act applies in relation to the Republic of Austria subject to the following treaties:
(a) the Treaty between Australia and the Republic of Austria concerning Extradition that came into force on 6 February 1975 (being the treaty a copy of the English text of which is set out in the Schedule);
(b) the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs, 1961 as subsequently amended (being the Convention referred to in, and a copy of the English text of which is set out in the Schedule to, the Extradition (Narcotic Drugs) Regulations.”.
