I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of
Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the
following Regulations under the

1.1 The Extradition Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

(1) The provisions of subsections 15 (2), (3), (4), (5) and (6) of the Act apply in relation to a person who has been brought before a court in accordance with subsection 49A (2) of the Act as if the person had been brought before a magistrate in accordance with subsection 15 (1) of the Act.
