I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Extradition Act 1988.

Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Extradition (Kyrgyzstan) Regulations 2004.
Commencement
These Regulations commence on the date of their notification in the Gazette.
Definitions
Act means the Extradition Act 1988.

Application of the Act in relation to

For the purposes of the application of the Act in relation to
and relying on paragraph 11 (1) (b) and subsection 11 (2) of the Act, paragraph 17 (2) (a) of the Act is modified by omitting ‘45 days’ and substituting ‘90 days’. Kyrgyzstan
