Extradition Act 1988 .Dated 8 August 2002

These Regulations are the
Extradition (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan) Regulations 2002 .
These Regulations commence on gazettal.
In these Regulations:
Act means theExtradition Act 1988 .
Jordan means the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
4 Declaration that Jordan is an extradition country Jordan is declared to be an extradition country.
For the purposes of the application of the Act in relation to Jordan and in reliance on paragraph 11 (1) (b) and subsection 11 (2) of the Act, paragraph 17 (2) (a) is modified by omitting ‘45 days’ and substituting ‘60 days’.
