This instrument is the
Extradition (El Salvador) Regulations 2017 .
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the
Extradition Act 1988 .
In this instrument:
Act means theExtradition Act 1988 .
For the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of
extradition country in section 5 of the Act, El Salvador is declared to be an extradition country.
For the purposes of paragraph 11(1)(b) of the Act, the Act applies in relation to El Salvador subject to modification of paragraph 17(2)(a) of the Act by omitting ‘45 days’ and substituting ‘60 days’.
