Exports (Grain) Regulations2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Customs Act 1901 and the Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Act 1905.

Fees for officers’ services

Regulation 15 of the Exports (Grain) Regulations is amended—

• (a)

  by omitting from paragraph (1) (a) “Saturday, Sunday or holiday” and “$2.50” and substituting “Saturday or Sunday” and “$4.20” respectively;

• (b)

  by inserting after paragraph (1) (a) the following paragraph:

  • “(aa)

    in respect of services rendered on a holiday — a fee of $5.25 for each quarter-hour or part of a quarter-hour during which the services are so rendered;”;

• (c)

  by omitting from paragraph (1) (b) “$1.90” and substituting “$3.15”; and

• (d)

  by omitting from paragraph (1) (c) “$1.90” and substituting “$3.15”.
