1Name

This is the Export Quotas Legislation Amendment Regulation 2016.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the following:

1. (a)

   the Australian Meat and Live‑stock Industry Act 1997;

(b)the Australian Meat and Live‑stock (Quotas) Act 1990;

(c)the Dairy Produce Act 1986.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Australian Meat and Live‑stock Industry Regulations 1998

Repeal the following definitions:

1. (a)

   definition of licensee;

2. (b)

   definition of quota document;

3. (c)

   definition of quota entitlement;

4. (d)

   definition of quota holder;

5. (e)

   definition of quota year;

6. (f)

   definition of Quotas Act.

Repeal the regulation.
