1Name of Regulations

 These Regulations are the Export Inspection (Service Charge) Amendment Regulations 2001 (No. 2).

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence on 1 November 2001.

3Amendment of Export Inspection (Service Charge) Regulations 1985

Schedule 1 amends the Export Inspection (Service Charge) Regulations 1985.

  For paragraph (1) (a), the rate is:

  • (a)

    for dairy products:

    • (i)

      for the first service in a year — $75 for each half hour or part of a half hour, with a minimum charge of $90; and

    • (ii)

      for a second service in a year — $83.30 for each half hour or part of a half hour, with a minimum charge of $150; and

    • (iii)

      for a third or subsequent service in a year — $83.30 for each half hour or part of a half hour, with a minimum charge of $300; and

  • (b)

    for other prescribed goods:

    • (i)

      for the first service in a year — $75 for each half hour or part of a half hour, with a minimum charge of $150; and

    • (ii)

      for a second service in a year — $83.30 for each half hour or part of a half hour, with a minimum charge of $250; and

    • (iii)

      for a third or subsequent service in a year — $83.30 for each half hour or part of a half hour, with a minimum charge of $500.
