Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Act 1985.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 July 1995.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule (Rates of charge)

3.1   Item 1:

Omit the item, substitute:

“1

Dairy produce

40 cents per tonne or part thereof”.

3.2   Item 2:

Omit the item, substitute:

“2

Grain that:

(a) is shipped for export in bulk (except in a container system unit); and

(b) is not prepared for export under a system subject to a certification assurance arrangement

7.4 cents per tonne or part thereof”.

3.3   Item 5:

Omit the item, substitute:

“5

Grain that is shipped for export in a container system unit

$4.50 per tonne or part thereof”.

4.   Repeal of Statutory Rules 1995 No. 170

4.1   Statutory Rules 1995 No. 170 is repealed.
