Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Act 1985.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 November 1987.

Interpretation

2. Regulation 2 of the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations is amended by omitting “20 August 1986” from the definition of “forward contract” and substituting “15 September 1987”.

Exemption from charge

3. Regulation 4 of the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations is amended by inserting before paragraph (a) the following paragraph:

“(aa) dairy produce products prepared at an establishment which has a quality control system plan approved by the Secretary in an arrangement between the Department and the occupier of the establishment in relation to an export control order, being an arrangement with respect to inspection procedures to ensure the quality of products prepared;”.

Schedule

4. The Schedule to the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from Item 1 “$1.63” and substituting “$2.02”;

(b) by omitting from Item 3 “$3.02” and substituting “$3.74”;

(c) by omitting from Item 4 “$2.55” and substituting “$3.16”;

(d) by omitting from Item 5 “$4.00” and substituting “$4.56”;

(e) by omitting from Item 6 “$4.00” and substituting “$4.56”;

(f) by omitting from Item 19 “9.7” and substituting “10.3”;

(g) by omitting from Item 21 “21” and substituting “22”; and

(h) by omitting from Item 23 “72” and substituting “83”.
