I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Act 1985.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 January 1988.

Principal Regulations

2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations.

Interpretation

3. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “15 September 1987” from the definition of “forward contract” and substituting “7 December 1987”.

Schedule

4. The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from Item 20 “10.3” and substituting “13”;

(b) by omitting from Item 22 “22” and substituting “25”; and

(c) by omitting from Item 24 “83 cents” and substituting “$1.46”.
