I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Act 1985.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 October 1988.

Interpretation

2. Regulation 2 of the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations is amended by omitting “26 May 1988” from the definition of “forwarded contract” and substituting “23 August 1988”.

Schedule

3. The Schedule to the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from Item 1 “$2.42” and substituting “$2.39”;

(b) by omitting from Item 3 “$4.48” and substituting “$4.42”:

(c) by omitting from Item 4 “$3.79” and substituting “$3.74”;

(d) by omitting from Item 5 “$5.47” and substituting “$7.18 per tonne”:

(e) by omitting from Item 6 “$5.47” and substituting “$7.18”;

(f) by omitting from Item 19 “13” and substituting “16”;

(g) by omitting from Item 20 “16” and substituting “17”;

(h) by omitting from Item 21 “25” and substituting “30”.
