I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Act 1985.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1989.

Principal Regulations

2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations.

Exemption from charge

3. Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting “(aa)” and substituting “(a)”;

(b) by omitting paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f) and (g) and substituting the following word and paragraph:

“; and (b) grain, being seeds of lupins or field peas exported under a contract entered into before 22 August 1985.”.

Schedule

4. The Schedule to the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from item 23 “$1.46” and substituting “$2.95”;

(b) by omitting from item 24 “$1.46” and substituting “$2.95”.
