Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charges) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charges) Act 1985.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1991.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charges) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 3 (Interpretation)

3.1   Insert the following definitions:

“ ‘Export Control Orders’ means the Export Control (Fresh Fruits and Vegetables) Orders;

‘fresh fruits’ means fruits declared to be prescribed goods in the Export Control Orders as in force on 1 July 1991;

‘fresh vegetables’ means vegetables declared to be prescribed goods in the Export Control Orders as in force on 1 July 1991;

‘plant products’ means plant products to which the Grain, Plants and Plant Products Orders, as in force on 1 July 1991, apply;

‘plants’ means plants to which the Grain, Plants and Plant Products Orders, as in force on 1 July 1991, apply;”.

4.   Regulation 4 (Imposition of charge)

4.1   Paragraph 4 (1) (d):

Omit the paragraph, substitute:

“(d)

fresh fruits;

(e)

fresh vegetables;

(f)

poultry meat;

(g)

plant products;

(h)

plants.”.

5.   Schedule 1

5.1   Item 1:

Omit “241”, substitute “233”.

5.2   Item 2:

Omit “241”, substitute “233”.

5.3   Item 3:

Omit “477”, substitute “398”.

5.4   Item 4:
