Export Inspection (Establishment

Registration Charge) Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charge) Act 1985.

Commencement

1. (1) Regulation 2 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 1986.

(2) Regulation 4 shall come into operation on 1 October 1986.

Schedule (amendments deemed to have commenced on 1 January 1986)

2. The Schedule to the Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charge) Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in Item 3 “, other than an operation in respect of which an establishment referred to in Item 8a is registered” after “meat”; and

(b) by inserting after Item 8 the following item:

“8aEstablishment registered for operations associated with the preparation of poultry meat other than the slaughter or killing of poultry or the dressing of poultry carcases............. 200”.

Schedule

3. The Schedule to the Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charge) Regulations is amended by inserting in Item 4 “(whether or not any other kind of prescribed commodity is stored at that establishment)” after “prawns” (third and fourth occurring).

Schedule (amendments to commence on 1 October 1986)

4. The Schedule to the Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charge) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from Item 7 “$900” and substituting “$940”;

(b) by inserting in Item 9 “not being a vessel” after “establishment” (second occurring); and

(c) by adding at the end the following item:

“10 Any other establishment or class of establishment being a vessel............................................................................................ 340”.
