Registration Charge) Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charge) Act 1985.

Regulation 5 of the Export Inspection (Establishment Registration Charge) Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Exemption from charge

“5. For the purposes of subsection 6 (2) of the Act, the following are classes of establishments that are exempt from charge:

(a) establishments that are registered solely for the purpose of storing poultry meat;

(b) marine laboratories, operated or funded by the Commonwealth or a State or Territory, whose primary function is to research and develop export markets without engaging in commercial trade.”.
