REGULATIONS UNDER THE EXPORT FINANCE AND INSURANCE CORPORATION ACT 1974.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation Act 1974.

Amendments of the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation Regulations

Maximum amount of loans.

1. Regulation 12 of the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the figures and word “ $50 million ” and substituting the figures and word “ $151 million ”.

Repeal of regulations.

2. Regulations 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19 of the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation Regulations are repealed.

Allowances in respect of service of appointed members of the Board outside Australia.

3. Regulation 16 of the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the words “ Second Division ” and substituting the words “ First Division ”; and

(b) by omitting sub-regulation (2).

Allowances in respect of service outside Australia.

4. Regulation 20 of the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the words “ and were included in the Second Division ” and substituting the following words and paragraphs:—

“ and were included—

(a) in the case of the Managing Director—in the First Division; or

(b) in the case of the Deputy Managing Director—in the Second Division.”; and

(b) by omitting sub-regulation (2).
