Export Control (General) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Export Control Act 1982.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 January 1984.

Interpretation

2. Regulation 3 of the Export Control (General) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the definition of “meat”;

(b) by omitting “, the Exports (Honey) Regulations and the Exports (Meat) Regulations” from the definition of “repealed regulations” in sub-regulation (1) and substituting “and the Exports (Honey) Regulations”; and

(c) by omitting from sub-regulation (3) “, the Exports (Honey) Regulations or the Exports (Meat) Regulations” and substituting “or the Exports (Honey) Regulations”.

Schedule of further amendments

3. The Export Control (General) Regulations are further amended as set out in the Schedule.
