Export Control (Fees) Amendment Orders 2006 (No. 3)

I, PETER JOHN McGAURAN, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, make these orders under regulation 3 of the Export Control (Orders) Regulations 1982.

1. Name of Orders

These Orders are the Export Control (Fees) Amendment Orders 2006
(No. 3).

1. Commencement

These Orders commence on the day after this instrument is registered.

1. Amendment of Export Control (Fees) Orders 2001

Schedule 1 amends the Export Control (Fees) Orders 2001.

Insert:

23AB      Fees in respect of applications

The fees payable by a veterinarian in relation to an application for accreditation made by, or on behalf of, the veterinarian are:

(a) for the purposes of subsection 9B(3) of the Act, a fee for the making of the application - $208; and

(b)    a fee of $52 per quarter hour for services performed in relation to:

(i)     additional processing of the application;

(ii)    assessing the application;

(iii)   making a determination in relation to giving a notice of accreditation;

(iv)   giving a notice of accreditation.

Insert:

42A         Due date for payment of fees under Part 4

Despite order 41, a fee imposed by paragraph 23AB(a) must be paid at the time of making the application.
