1  Name of order

This order is the Export Control (Fees) Amendment (2014 Measures No. 1) Order 2014.

2  Commencement

This order commences on 1 July 2014.

3  Authority

This order is made under regulation 3 of the Export Control (Orders) Regulations 1982.

4  Schedule(s)

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Export Control (Fees) Orders 2001

1  Suborder 4(1)

Insert:

registered premises means premises registered under Division 2.2 of the Export Control (Animals) Order 2004.

2  Suborder 23AA(4)

Repeal the suborder, substitute:

(4)  The outport fee, for inspection services made available at a place (an outport) mentioned in an item in Table 23AA.2, is the amount mentioned in the item for the way in which the authorised officer travels to the outport by arrangement with the exporter.

(e)  for premises at which live‑stock to be exported by air are to be prepared—$167.95;

(f)  for premises at which animals other than live‑stock or horses are to be prepared—$95.40.

8  Suborder 24(2)

Repeal the suborder, substitute:

(2)  If, for the purpose of performing a service in respect of the export of live animals or animal reproductive material, it is necessary for an authorised officer to stay overnight at a place that is not the officer’s usual place of residence, a fee is imposed of $355.00 for each night of stay.
