Explosives (Amendment) Act 1969 (NSW)
Case
The Explosives Act, 1905-1968, is amended by insert
ing next after section twenty-five the following new section : —
25A. The Governor may make regulations prohibiting or regulating the sale, or the exposing for sale, by retail, of fireworks of such classes or descriptions as are specified
in the regulations except on such days or in such circum
stances as are specified therein.
If any fireworks are sold or exposed for sale in con
travention of any such regulations—
(a)
the person selling or exposing for sale the same shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding one hundred dollars; and
(b)
all or any part of the same may be forfeited while in the possession, control or custody of that person.
