LIQUOR AND REGISTERED CLUBS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1997 No 155 - PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Liquor and Registered Clubs Legislation Amendment Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint l April 1999 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)

Schedule 2 (except for so much of Schedule 2 [7] as would insert section 23AB (3) and (4) of the Liquor Act 1982),

(b)

Schedule 3 [17] to the extent that it inserts clauses 56 and 57 ( l ) of Part 11 of Schedule 1 to the Liquor Act 1982.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence certain amendments to the Liquor Act 1982 relating to on-licences to sell liquor at functions.
